Realfast6 Operating System Requirements
- Realfast is compatible with current versions of Microsoft Windows including:
- Microsoft Windows 2000
- Microsoft Windows XP
Realfast is not supported on Windows 95, Windows NT, and Apple computers. Limited support is available for Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows Me until July 11, 2006 when Microsoft will discontinue support for these operating systems.
Network Compatibility
Realfast is compatible with Microsoft Windows-based file server networks. Network capabilities may vary depending on which version of Windows you are using. Realfast recommends using Microsoft server environments when running Realfast on a network. Realfast can be used in Terminal Server and Citrix environments, however we cannot support these system nor can we make configuration recommendations.
Hardware Requirements
Realfast is compatible with most desktop and laptop computers running supported Microsoft Windows operating systems (see list above). Minimum hardware requirements are:
- Minimum RAM required by your version of Windows
- 20 MB available hard disk space (minimum)
- CD-ROM drive (optional)
- Video display adapter and monitor supporting 800 by 600 pixel resolution (required)
- A printer compatible with your version of Windows.
Other Requirements
The following items are also required:
- Internet access for downloading program and forms updates. Many of our form providers update their content frequently, and you should check our website often for updates.
- Users should have basic knowledge of computer operation and be able to perform tasks such as installing software, downloading files from the Internet, using E-Mail, and copying files.
Optional: A properly configured E-Mail account using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express is required to use the integrated E-Mail features. Other E-Mail software may be used but requires additional steps.
