PDF Converter Failed to Initialize
Follow the steps below to reinstall your RealFA$T PDF Converter and remove the 'PDF Converter Failed to
Initialize' error message. Please ensure that you have the correct version of Realfast Forms 6 for your Windows operating system installed prior to performing the steps below.
Windows 7
Windows 7 users will need to ensure that Realfast Forms ver. 6.17 is installed prior to performing the steps below
- Navigate to the C:\rfwin folder
- Right click the RF_PDF_INSTALL.EXE application file and select ‘Troubleshoot Compatibility’
- Choose Use Windows Recommended settings.
- Choose Run Program.
- Follow the remaining prompts and save the compatibility settings for Win XP.
- Windows 7 will correct any compatibility problems and you will be able to convert form to PDF.
Windows Vista
Windows Vista users will need to ensure that Realfast Forms ver. 6.17 is installed prior to performing the steps below
- Click Start and ‘Select’ My Computer
- Double click the C: Drive
- Double click the Rfwin folder
- Double click the Install RealFA$T PDF Converter.bat file
- An Command Prompt window will appear and the PDF Converter will be reinstalled.
Windows XP & earlier
Windows XP & earlier users will need to ensure that Realfast Forms ver. 6.16 is installed prior to performing the steps below
- Click Start and ‘Select’ My Computer
- Double click the C: Drive
- Double click the Rfwin folder
- Double click the Install RealFA$T PDF Converter.bat file
- An Command Prompt window will appear and the PDF Converter will be reinstalled.
