Frequently Asked Questions about E-Mailing a Contract

Follow the instructions below to e-mail a contract:

  1. In Realfast, open the contract you want to e-mail (the contract must be saved prior to e-mailing it).
  2. Click on the envelope icon on the Realfast toolbar (or click on the Utilities menu, then click on e-mail Contract.)
  3. Choose the Attachment File Type. Your options will be either a PDF or EXE format. The How to E-Mail a Contract with any E-Mail Software format is highly recommended. (For more information about each of the format options, click the More Information button.)
  4. If you choose the PDF format, a PDF e-mail Settings window will then allow you to choose options such as including the Date/Time Stamp, including the Initial Lines, etc. Choose the options you would like and then click OK.
  5. Select the e-mail software that you use in the e-mail software window and then click OK.
  6. A window will appear that tells you where your e-mail attachment is located. The e-mail file is saved in C:/RFWIN/DATA/username/mail. The username is your Realfast logon name.
  7. Use your e-mail software to create a new e-mail message and attach the file.
