Creating Master Contracts

Master contracts can be created to speed up the contract preparation process. Master contracts can contain all the clauses and other necessary information so that only transaction-specific information such as buyers, sellers, dates, and property descriptions need to be added.
The Administrator must first create a Master Contract before it can be used by other users. If the Master Contract has not been previously created, the Use Master Contracts button will be dimmed.
To create a Master Contract:

  1. Logon to Realfast as the Administrator using ADMIN as the logon name and ADMIN as the password.
  2. From the Realfast menu, select File, then New Form.
  3. Highlight the contract you want to use, then click OK.
  4. Fill in all the desired contract information.
  5. Setup automatic dating (optional).
  6. From the Realfast menu, select File, then Save Form, or Save Form As.
  7. Enter a file name that begins with "Master" to designate it as being a master contract ( for example: Master Residential Sale).

The Master Contract is now available for use by others.
To use a Master Contract:

  • Logon to Realfast with your user name and password.
  • From the Realfast menu, select File, then New Form.

  • Highlight the Master Contract you wish to use, then click the Create a Contract button.
