How to Change the Way Expandable Fields Display and Print

 

With some printers (especially HP LaserJets) the expandable fields may overrun the right margin or may even cut off some characters when printing. This problem can be corrected by changing the Expandable field Margin Setting.

 

  1. Click on the Windows Start button (usually located at the lower left corner of your screen.).
     
  2. Click on Programs, then click on Realfast Setup 6 (green icon).
     
  3. Click on the Expandable Field Margin tab.

    Note: If you do not see the Expandable Field Margin tab, you may have an older version of Realfast. Go to www.realfast.com, click Download and follow the instructions to download the latest version of the software, then retry these instructions.
     
  4. Type "740" in the New Value field.
     
  5. Click the Change Value button.
     
  6. Click OK at the bottom of the screen to close Realfast Setup 6.
     

Note: If this helps but does not solve the problem completely, repeat these steps but use "700" in Step 4 as the New Value field. You may need to even lower the number farther.
