How to E-Mail a Contract with Outlook or Outlook Express

 

Follow the instructions below to send a contract using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express: 

  1. In Realfast, open the contract you want to e-mail (the contract must be saved prior to e-mailing it).
     
  2. Click on the envelope icon on the Realfast toolbar (or click on the Utilities menu, then click on E-mail Form.)  Wait a few moments as Realfast initiates your Outlook.
     
  3. Outlook will automatically create a new e-mail message with your contract included as an attachment. You will be asked to select which format to send the contract in. Your options will be either a PDF or .EXE format. DO NOT use the .EXE format, as most Internet Service Providers will strip the e-mail attachment out).
      
  4. A PDF E-mail Settings window will then allow you to choose options such as including the Date/Time Stamp, including the Initial Lines, etc. Choose the options you would like and then click OK.
      
  5. You will then be prompted to select the software you use for your e-mail program from the pop-up menu. Select the software and click OK
      
  6. Enter the recipient's e-mail address, and send the message.
