Downloading using the save option

 

When you go to the Realfast website and click on Download, select your state, and click Download Now, you should be prompted to Open or Run the software. If you do not have the option to click Open or Run, your Browser may require that you Save this to disk. You must follow these instructions in order to successfully install Realfast.

 

  1. Select Save and a “Save As” dialog box should appear.
      
  2. In the top of this "Save As" dialog box, select a drive where you can easily find this program later. (Example: Select Desktop by clicking the down button to the right of the "Look In" field.) Write down the filename so you will remember it. You should also see this in the "Save As" dialog box.
      
  3. Click Save again. This could take several moments as the program is downloaded.
      
  4. If a dialog box pops up that says "Download Complete" and it gives you the option to Open or Open Folder, select Open.
      
  5. If a dialog box does not appear, then you must look for the downloaded file in the location where you saved it. (If you used the example above, you should see the icon on your desktop) Then double click on the program to start the installation process.
      
  6. You should then see the Realfast install screen. Follow the instructions through the Realfast setup.
      
  7. Once you are through the set-up, click "Finish"; the install was successful.
