Note: These instructions are intended for advanced users. All others should follow the directions on the previous screen.
Saving to Disk
You can choose Save this program to disk when downloading. Doing this offers some useful options. You can:
Download the program and perform the update at another time
- Copy the downloaded program to another computer or to a network server
- Copy the downloaded program to other media such as a CD or ZIP disk for installation on other computers
When you save to disk, you must decide where to save the download file, and you can optionally rename it. Write down the location and the filename, so you don't forget.
Once you have saved the file, execute it and follow the directions.
About the Download File
The download file for the program and forms update is a self-extracting
executable. It contains files for both the Realfast software and all
forms packages for a particular state or region. It does not contain
any custom forms.
The download file will perform one of the following:
- Install Realfast. You will need your Registration Information.
- Install a demonstration version of Realfast.
- Update an existing Realfast installation.
The program will automatically detect whether Realfast Forms is already installed on the computer. If so, the only option will be an update.
The program will update any forms for a particular state or region that are already installed on the computer. If you have forms installed for more than one state or region, you will need to download the update file for each state or region.
If the program does not find any previously installed forms for the state or region you selected, only the Realfast software will be updated
