Things to know after downloading Realfast 6.17 Beta for Windows Vista.

 

The forms appear very small on my screen, how can I view the form in it's entirety?

You will want to change the compatibility mode following the instructions below.  This will only change the view of Realfast on your screen, NOT the display settings for your entire computer.

1.  Be sure Realfast is completely closed while adjusting these settings.

2.  Right click on the Realfast icon and click on Properties.

3.  Click on the Compatibility tab at the top.

4.  Check the box that says "Run in compatibility mode for"

5.  Pull down the list below and select "Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1"

6.  Click "Apply" and then "OK".

I have Realfast 6.16, can I install Realfast 6.17 Beta for Windows Vista without uninstalling Realfast first?

Yes.  When you run the 6.17 download, it will update the Realfast program.  You will not lose any of your forms or clauses.

 

Why do I get an error while trying to convert to a pdf?

You will get an error message "Printer not activated, error code -41" the first time you create a .PDF document from within the Realfast program. This is due to advanced security settings in the PDF converter. This is an effort to deter the use of the PDF converter from within other programs. You will only receive this message once. You will also no longer be able to access the printing preferences of the PDF converter from outside the Realfast program.

 

I get an error message; This program may not have installed correctly, what do I do?

You will be given 2 choices:  "This program didn't install correctly.  Try installing using settings that are compatible with this version of windows." OR "This program installed correctly."
Choose: "This program is installed correctly."

 

I get the error message "Failed to launch" when I try to access help, what do I do?
The "Help" feature in Realfast isn't currently working with the Vista version.  Please click on the link:  Helpful Users Hints  for further help with Realfast functionality.
